May 31 and June 1 Children’s tapas route in Cartagena
23 local restaurants in Cartagena offer healthy snacks for youngsters
The 4th annual children’s tapas route is being held in Cartagena over the weekend of May 31 and June 1 with 23 restaurants in and around the city centre taking part, offering a great chance to involve the kiddies in the typical weekend tapas session before lunch!
Each of the bars and restaurants taking part offers a healthy tapa using natural products at just 2.50 euros, and on top of this there are chances for the youngsters to try new foods and even help prepare their own snacks.
The event runs in conjunction with healthy eating programs at 8 local primary and secondary schools and the restaurants and bars taking part are Chiyoko, Larvi, Chamfer Centro, Las Termas del Pincho, Eszencia, Bahía, Aperitivo del Pintor, La bodeguilla, Syrah, La guindilla taquería, Mare Nostrum, Lebeche, Gastrobar La Fábrica, El viejo almacén, Club deportivo Santa Ana, La Albacería del Rey, La Piripi, Vinarte, Horus, Komo en kasa, El Callejón del 13, El pellizco and Nuestra Tradición (El Abasto).
The official opening of the event takes place at 11.00 on Saturday 31st May in the Plaza San Francisco.
