Murcia positions itself at the forefront of Europe's longevity investment market with the WOW Longevity Hotel and fixed annual returns of up to 8%
The project combines a Blue Zone lifestyle concept with professional hotel management and a structured income model
The
Region of Murcia is strengthening its position within Europe’s growing longevity and wellness investment sector with the development of the
WOW Longevity Hotel at
Altaona Sports & Wellness Resort. Led by
The Art of Living in Spain, the project introduces a hospitality-led investment concept that combines preventive healthcare, professional hotel management and long-term income visibility.
Conceived as
Europe’s first Blue Zone-inspired longevity resort, Altaona is evolving into a destination where architecture, science-based medicine and Mediterranean lifestyle converge. The WOW Longevity Hotel plays a central role in this transformation, offering investors access to a structured hotel asset supported by rising demand for longevity-focused tourism.
A hospitality asset designed for predictable income
The WOW Longevity Hotel will comprise approximately 225 fully furnished hotel apartments, complemented by around 50 Founder Residences primarily intended for personal use. All hotel units operate under a single professional management structure, ensuring consistent service standards, operational efficiency and a uniform guest experience.
From an investment perspective, the model is based on a long-term commercial lease, offering fixed net annual returns of up to 8% during the pre-launch phase, together with 2% construction interest during the 24-month build period. Under this framework, the operator assumes responsibility for operational costs, maintenance and community fees, providing investors with stable and contractually defined income.
Owners also retain the option of personal use without operational responsibilities, positioning the asset as a hybrid between lifestyle ownership and professionally managed hospitality investment.
Technical investment structure and pricing
Hotel units range from 45 m² to 90 m² constructed, with purchase prices starting at €202,500 and reaching €405,000, depending on size and layout.
During the pre-launch phase, units generate a fixed net annual return of 8%, resulting in annual net income ranging from €16,200 to €32,400. Rental income is not linked to the occupancy of individual units, as the operator manages the hotel inventory as a whole.
Ownership may be structured at 25%, 50%, 75% or 100%, allowing investors to combine rental income with personal use. Depending on participation level, owners may enjoy between one and four weeks of personal use per year, while retaining full access to hotel services and longevity facilities.
Pre-reservation and payment structure
The project is currently open for pre-reservations, enabling investors to secure units under pre-launch conditions. A €100 pre-reservation is required, due by 27 February 2026.
This phased structure provides early access to the project while allowing time for due diligence before full contractual commitment.
Swiss-backed longevity and medical integration
A defining feature of the WOW Longevity Hotel is its direct integration with the
Swiss-partnered WOW Longevity Clinic,
specialising in preventive and regenerative medicine. The clinic focuses on advanced diagnostics, biological age measurement, genetic and epigenetic profiling and personalised longevity programmes.
This medical infrastructure acts as a core demand driver. Longevity-focused guests typically stay longer, return more frequently and travel outside traditional peak seasons, supporting resilient occupancy levels and long-term revenue stability. Owners also benefit from priority access and preferential conditions for treatments and programmes.
Strategic location and market fundamentals
The hotel is located within Altaona Sports & Wellness Resort, a 3.6-million-square-metre environment where only 9% of the land is developed, surrounded by protected natural areas, a championship golf course and outdoor sports infrastructure. The region enjoys more than 300 days of sunshine per year, supporting year-round tourism.
Connectivity is a key advantage. Altaona is situated 15 minutes from Murcia International Airport, prepared for transatlantic operations, 50 minutes from Alicante International Airport, and approximately three hours from Madrid by high-speed rail. This accessibility underpins both tourism demand and long-term capital appreciation.
First-mover advantage in a growing sector
The project has already received international recognition, including awards such as Best Leisure Development in Spain and Second Best Hospitality Project Worldwide, reinforcing its credibility within the global hospitality and real estate landscape.
For the Region of Murcia, the project represents a significant step in positioning the area as a competitive and future-oriented destination for wellness-driven tourism and hospitality investment.
