A bright start with thunderstorms possible later in the week: Alicante weather April 27-30
Clearer skies and mild temperatures return, but showers and thunderstorms are possible by midweek

After a cool and rainy weekend, we can look forward to brighter weather this week. Sunshine will return at the start of the week, with mild temperatures and lighter winds making for pleasant spring conditions across much of the province.
But clouds will build as the week progresses, and by midweek there is a chance of showers and thunderstorms, particularly in inland areas. Coastal areas look like they will stay brighter and drier overall.
Monday April 27
Monday brings a return to brighter weather, with clear skies or just a little cloud around at times. Temperatures will remain mild, making for another pleasant spring day across the province. Winds will be light through the morning, then turn easterly around midday, making it feel a little fresher at times along the southern coast.
Tuesday April 28
Tuesday stays settled enough, although there will be more cloud around as the day goes on, with cloud moving up from the south. There may be the chance of showers, but despite that, there should still be plenty of bright spells.
Temperatures will stay pleasant and winds will be fairly light, although coastal areas could see a slightly stronger breeze developing later in the day.
Wednesday April 29
Wednesday will be more unsettled, with clouds increasing and showers developing in places. Some of these could be heavy and may be accompanied by thunderstorms, especially inland during the afternoon.
Night-time temperatures will rise a little, while daytime temperatures remain in the low to mid-twenties. Winds will stay light overall, turning easterly through the middle of the day.
Thursday April 30
Thursday starts brighter, with sunshine in the morning and just a little cloud around. As the afternoon goes on, clouds will begin to build again, bringing the chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly in inland areas.
Temperatures will edge up slightly during the day, although little change is expected in the south of the province. Winds will remain light.
All in all, it looks like a pleasant week ahead across Alicante. There may be some showers later in the week, particularly inland, but there will still be plenty of bright, mild spring weather to enjoy.
Minimum and maximum temperatures in Alicante this week:

- Monday April 27: Min 10ºC; Max 22ºC
- Tuesday April 28: Min 10ºC; Max 23ºC
- Wednesday April 29: Min 10ºC; Max 26ºC
- Thursday April 30: Min 12ºC; Max 27ºC
