April 18 Enjoy a free concert from Sonrisas Harmony against the spectacular backdrop of Cartagena Casino
Turn up early to be assured of getting a seat for this free concert
This Saturday April 18 at 8pm, Sonrisas Harmony A Cappella Chorus is performing at the Casino de Cartagena, giving a free concert to show off their famous singing skills.Susie Wyatt from Sonrisas said, “We are incredibly honoured to be performing in one of Cartagena’s most prestigious and historic venues, the Casino of Cartagena, housed in the magnificent Casa Tilly Palace.”
It really is a remarkable building with a stunning atmosphere – the perfect place to enjoy an evening of beautiful music, including classic hits, pop tunes and Broadway musical staples. The concert will last for approximately one hour.
Although much of the Casino’s early history was lost during the Spanish Civil War, records show that the Casino was already flourishing as early as 1836. Long before settling into its current home, it was already a vibrant cultural hub, hosting concerts, conferences and a rich programme of artistic activity.
“To now bring our voices into such a space – steeped in nearly two centuries of culture and community – is truly a privilege,” said Susie. “We can’t wait to share this special performance with you.”
